" well done to the team for establishing and developing such an important project ...
such a vital piece of cultural infrastructure in the North-East, providing quality opportunities for people to take part in Scotland's rich musical traditions"

The Dee and Don Ceilidh Collective was formed as a Scottish charity with the following objectives:
a. the advancement of education in music and dance, particularly, but not exclusively that of the north-east of Scotland
b. the advancement of arts, culture and heritage through participative events celebrating culture past and present in Upper Deeside and Donside
We have an active committee of volunteer Trustees and report our accounts each year to the Scottish charity regulator OSCR.
We are grateful to these funders of prior face-to-face events: Crerar Trust, Aberdeenshire Council, Foundation Scotland, The David and June Gordon Memorial Trust and Vattenfall Clashindarroch Community Fund. Our 2021 online project 'Our Living Rivers and Glens' was supported by the Creative Scotland Open Fund . Progress in 2022 was enabled by funding from Tesco Community Grants and Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland.
